As a GCISD board trustee, I will continue to ensure that the policies and opportunities we pursue in our district will equip Every Student, Every Strength, and Every Skill Set those in our student body are pursuing.
Why I'm Running
I am seeking re-election because I want to continue investing in the district that invested in me so much growing up.
Running for office is not easy, especially for someone who is not and has never claimed to be a politician, but the future of our schools is extremely important to me. I’m proud of the work I’ve done during my first term, I’m also proud of the many relationships cultivated during this time. This district helped to raise me, my extended family and my children. 5 generations strong in GCISD.
GCISD is now ranked #2 in DFW...Let's Keep the Momentum Going!
Because of the leaders sitting on this board, GCISD is now ranked #2 in the DFW area and #4 in the state. We’ve won numerous awards for student programs. We’ve received an award from the state for superior financial integrity. We’ve lowered the tax rate again and again. We have given teachers the largest pay raise in our district’s history. And we’ve handed the keys back to parents, and have invited them to engage in their child’s education rather than shutting them out of it.
Champion and Advocate for Career & Technical Education
GCISD is a Results Driven District, great things are ahead and we have only just begun! Why stop now? I am an advocate for every student in our district receiving the best education possible. A vote for me is a vote for equipping Every Student, Every Strength, and Every Skill Set to succeed.
My focus as a trustee is ensuring our students are being educated and equipped to succeed in life. This has been the focus of our Board of Trustees over the last three years, and the results confirm we are not just ‘talking’ about it, we are doing it.
